The Africa Gospel Film Project will train 300 Christian filmmakers in Africa, and produce a slate of 6 premium Faith-based film projects across 3 years, also providing hundreds of jobs for Christian Creatives, and partnership support to selected films by participants. This is both a mission and a market opportunity.

AGFP will provide Millions of Naira in Equipment Funding & Technical Support to selected film projects by participants across 3 years (2026-2028)
AGFP will produce 6 premium faith-based feature films, employing over 200 Christian creatives as cast and crew on the projects, across 3 years.
AGFP will distribute these films locally and globally through theatrical releases, streaming platforms, festivals and television.

6-DAY IMMERSIVE & SPIRITUAL FORMATION PROGRAM
• Professional Capacity Building in Film Production from Development to Distribution, with Masterclasses in Screenwriting, Acting, Directing, Cinematography and Editing.
Media and Ministry training by Global Ministry Partners, to spiritually align participants with God’s purpose for storytelling
Daily Worship & Prayer Sessions for Spiritual Anchoring.
Film Screenings, Reviews & Panel discussions
Participants in groups will engage in a 4 Short Film Productions.
Pre-selected participants will get an opportunity to pitch their projects for funding and collaborations.
Admission to the Africa Gospel Film Project (AGFP) is based on a 60% scholarship. Apply, if selected, you pay N100,000 instead of N250,000.

AGFP is for Kingdom Filmmakers who desire to upskill themselves, deepen their spiritual anchoring, and connect with other Kingdom Filmmakers across the world.
AGFP is best suited for persons with some prior knowledge and experience in Filmmaking or Acting, and the application requires you show what you've done previously. However, exceptional talents will be considered.

Aside AGFP, kingdom creatives can access training with Gospel Cinema International by enrolling for the 3-Week Intensive Program in Filmmaking & Ministry, or attend masterclasses at the Africa International Christian Film Festival (AICFF), or join the Gospel Cinema International Kingdom Creatives Hub (KCH), which holds monthly engagements and weekly connections, with opportunity to join any of the Labs: Screenwriting, Directing, Acting, Cinematography, Editing, and more.
AGFP offers a short 6-day Intensive Boot Camp type program, while the 3-week program is actually a 4-week standard academy curriculum delivered as an accelerated intensive program in filmmaking and ministry. It results in a fully delivered 4-week program in filmmaking and ministry, delivered in three weeks. It is a good entry point for beginners, as no previous experience is required, but also serves practicing filmmakers. KCH hosts a cost-free monthly hub for kingdom filmmakers to connect and learn from each other through film screenings, discussions, and networking, with an opportunity to further deepen your skill by enrolling for one of the labs
