At its core, AICFF seeks to amplify the production, distribution, and market expansion of Christian films. It is strategically positioned to meet the rising demand for faith-based content within Africa—the continent with the largest Christian population in the world (over 650 million people)—while also showcasing Africa’s unique voice, creativity, and perspective in global Christian cinema.
The festival brings together filmmakers, producers, distributors, broadcasters, streaming platforms, church networks, investors, and audiences in one dynamic space. It provides a rare opportunity for cross-cultural exchange and business partnerships, connecting African filmmakers with global Christian film industries, while also ensuring that international productions find distribution pathways within the African market.

Film submission for AICFF 2026 opens December 9, 2025. All films must be family friendly, no nudity, no curse word, and must reflect a Christian world view, in other to be accepted into the festival. Submission category includes:
