Who We Are?
GOSPEL CINEMA INTERNATIONAL
Gospel Cinema International (GCI) is a faith-driven film production studio committed to creating high-quality, redemptive films that reflect Kingdom values and speak powerfully to contemporary culture.
Beyond producing original cinematic works, GCI empowers Christian filmmakers through training, mentorship, and strategic collaboration—multiplying excellence-driven, gospel-centered storytelling across Africa and the global film industry.
Our Vision
To raise a global movement of Kingdom storytellers and establish Africa as a leading voice in faith-driven cinema, using excellence in storytelling to transform lives, shape culture, advance the Gospel, and inspire hope across Africa and the world.
Our Mission
To discover, equip, and champion exceptional faith-driven filmmakers and stories through professional training, spiritual formation, film production, festivals, and strategic partnerships—using cinema as a tool for evangelism, discipleship, and cultural transformation
Our Manifesto
Our Purpose
We exist to tell stories that disciple nations, shape culture, and glorify God. Cinema is not merely entertainment; it is a spiritual and cultural tool, capable of inspiring, challenging, and transforming lives. We take this responsibility very serious, hence we create with utmost intentionality
Our Creative Principle
1. Story First: Every idea must serve the narrative and the Kingdom. 2. Excellence as Standard: No compromise in production, acting, or technical execution. 3. Cultural Relevance: Stories must reflect African realities and universal truths. 4. Spiritual Integrity: Every project is spiritually vetted for theological soundness. 5. Innovation Within Faith: Bold creativity is encouraged, grounded in God’s wisdom. 6. Sustainability: Every project should build capacity, not just content.
Our Core Belief
• Every story has power—to shape values, influence hearts, and alter destinies. • Kingdom Cinema is not church drama; it is faith-rooted, artistically excellent, and culturally resonant storytelling. • Excellence is worship. Every technical choice, every narrative beat, every frame communicates the glory of God.
Our Approach
• Disciple Through Narrative: Film is a medium for spiritual formation and societal transformation. • Collaborate for Greatness: We partner with creators, pastors, theologians, and communities to maximize impact. • Lead, Don’t Follow: We set trends in Kingdom cinema; we do not imitate secular or faith-based norms blindly. • Measure Spiritual & Cultural Impact: Success is defined not only by viewership but by transformation.
Our Mandate
We are called to: 1. Produce films that honor God and uphold truth 2. Set the standard for Christian cinema in Africa and beyond 3. Develop talent that combines spiritual maturity with artistic mastery 4. Engage culture, not withdraw from it 5. Influence the global perception of African Kingdom storytelling
Our Commitment
We commit to: • Protecting the Gospel in every story • Challenging mediocrity in African Christian media • Raising generations of Kingdom storytellers • Building a legacy of influence that transcends borders
